“Bless (affectionately, gratefully praise) the Lord, O my soul; and all that is [deepest] within me, bless His holy name!
Who redeems your life from the pit and corruption, Who beautifies, dignifies, and crowns you with loving-kindness and tender mercy.” Psalm 103:1,4 (AMPC)
O LORD,
You beautify my life with Your covenant love and Your compassion and Your mercy toward me.
I can be in a pit of despair, or a pit of self-pity and anger at injustices hurled at me, and You come rescue me when I call to You. You hear my voice from the bottom of the pit, and You come pull me out.
You comfort me with Your tender words. You offer me clean clothes to replace the ones mucked up by the pit. You help me wash away the dirt and tears from my face, and You place a crown of dignity on my head that says to all who see it that I am Your daughter, the daughter of the King of kings and that You have so chosen to honor me.
I know that I do not deserve all the honor and love You lavish on me; no one does.
But You are such an amazing Father that You choose to love me no matter what.
You are not the author of confusion, and it is not Your will that others vilify me with their wicked words, though You have promised to work everything out for good to those who love You and, indeed, You are able to, and will do so.
Thank You, Lord for the good that You are even now in the process of working.
Thank You that You speak truth to the lies that have been spoken over me, and that Your truth is like a torrent that washes the lies far away.
Please send the Liar far away as well, Lord, so he will not be able to whisper his lies anymore to my battered heart. Heal my heart, Lord, for You are the Great Physician.
And please, Lord, as my Kinsman Redeemer, chase away the squatters who have been camping out illegally on the fallow lands of my soul, and plant beautiful gardens and parks that You envision in their place, so that I can share Your beauty with others instead of struggling just to stand myself.
In my weakness, make me strong by Your resurrection power so that I may serve You wholeheartedly and pass on the overflow of Your love and beauty and dignity and honor to others. Strengthen me to share with them so that they too may find themselves safe in the arms of the Everlasting Lord who ardently desires to hold them close to His heart and shower them with His love.

Such a beautiful, beautiful prayer!
It truly brought encouragement to me, especially tonight as I experienced a disappointment that is a repeated pattern from this person who always cancels plans and makes me “feel” worthless to them. But you have drawn me out of my self-pity into the remembrance that I am worth EVERYTHING to Jesus who died in my place and Who ALWAYS desires to be with me.
Blessings,
