Cloud Artistry

I love a good thunderstorm.

A little lightening.

A little thunder.

Something about it relaxes me and makes me feel closer to God.

One of the beauties of thunderstorm weather is the contrast in the colors of the clouds.

A cloudless sky is beautiful, too, of course.  But it is like the empty canvas that is just waiting for the Master Artist to break out His painting supplies.  Clouds make possible a whole multitude of colors, shading, contrasts, highlights, brightness, and shadows.

The other evening I went running for my camera too late for the absolute best picture of the clouds, but the ones that I was able to photograph were awfully beautiful, too.

God is Awesome!

The works that He does with His creation are amazing!

And though I really don’t like trials and problems in my life, God can make just as beautiful and incredible a display with those clouds as He can with the physical ones in the sky.

And He will share His stunning artistry that He creates in our lives with others also, so that they can say, like I do when I see the amazing clouds above,

“God is Awesome!”

  3. These pictures say it all don’t they! We had the most spectacular sunset here in the hot south two nights ago, and I didn’t want to go inside until the “artistry” was complete. Loved this simple reminder of how truly AWESOME God is and so glad you shared friend:) Crystal~

    1. Yes, Crystal, you have to stay right there and watch it. It changes from one second to the next, so if you look away or go inside for a couple of minutes, you miss a lot!

May the Lord continue to bless you with awe over His Majestic beauty! 🙂
