Hi, and welcome! 🙂
I was debating over whether I should continue the “Worship with me” series in this new year, and I discovered that I personally need to keep the awesomeness of the Lord before me. So, I decided to continue writing down my words of worship and sharing them with you. Please feel free to pray them with me from your heart as well!
How wonderful, how marvelous is Your name!
Your glory fills the heavens!
Your splendor shows up in the sunsets and rainbows!
Your majesty flashes in the darkened skies of the storm!
Your grandeur speaks to us from the heights of mountains and waterfalls!
Your power and peace are spoken by the voice of every wave as it surges and crashes on the sandy beaches and the rocky shores!
You are GREAT in power and in might,
- in light,
- in love,
- in compassion,
- in comfort,
- in mercy, and
- in grace!
You are great in Your long-suffering patience toward us! Thank You, Lord!
Of Your fullness “we have all received, and grace upon grace.” (John 1:16)
Please forgive us, Lord, for our focus on the troubles of life, and for our quick forgetfulness of the gifts that You have given us. We have surely sinned against You in this and even more so in our forgetting You, the Giver of all good things. (James 1:17) Please help us to get our focus back on You. We surrender our problems to You, knowing that nothing is too difficult for You.
Thank You, Jesus, for bringing the grace and truth of the Father down to earth where Your people could see it firsthand. (John 1:14)
And, thank You for Your sacrifice, that You offered (Yourself) once to bear the sins of many, and that You will appear a second time … to those who eagerly await (You). (Hebrews 9:28)
In the meantime, Lord, thank You that You are with us always, even unto the end of the age! (Matthew 28:20) Thank You that You never leave us nor forsake us, and that You are with us through all the difficulties of this life. (Hebrews 13:5b)
Thank You that You help us overcome our fears, and thereby, You give us hope.
Lord, YOU ARE OUR HOPE! (1 Timothy 1:1)
Praise be to You forever and ever!
