Perfectly Loved

“Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him.”   Psalm 37:7

Resting in His loving arms

Like a young child sleeps

On Daddy’s shoulder

Like a baby rests

In his Mommy’s arms,

Safe in the shelter

Of the strongest boulder.

No reason to fear,

I’m perfectly loved

By my Heavenly Father

Watching from above.

The miracle I need Him

To do for me can wait.

A few more moments,

Or a few more days,

While in the safest place I rest,

The most wonderful place,

Near His heart is the Best,

In the arms of my Almighty Dad.

Here I’m protected from all bad.

I’m safe in His arms,

In the arms of God.

Let us His Mighty love applaud.
