Worship with me #54

Welcome to Worship with me! I invite you to pray this prayer with me to the Lord from your heart and use it as a springboard to continue with your own prayers and draw closer to the Lord!

Thank You, LORD, that You are the God who sees! Sometimes we may think that You don’t because we can’t see You, but we’re not supposed to be able to do everything You can. You are God, and we’re not.

Lord, You look down from above and see all! Nothing is hidden from Your sight! Even the darkness is not dark to You, for You are the Light of the World, and not even one little speck of darkness is in You!

Thank You that we cannot hide from You; You see us warts and all, and You still love us! That’s one thing that I find so amazing about You, Lord; that You who know me best, including all the bad stuff, You love me more than anyone else does!

What a joy it is to be loved by You, Lord, my Savior, my Deliverer, and my Protector! You surround me with Your Presence, Your love, Your light, and I am glad! You are my courtyard of rejoicing! I come into Your courts with thanksgiving in my heart and rejoice to be with You!

Amen!

  1. Ah, Psalm 139 – one of my very favorites! I love your thoughts on God’s constant presence in our lives.
Regarding our not being able to hide from the LORD no matter where we go, I heard a Christian counselor say once that verse 10 (“…Even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast.”) says that He guides us with one hand and hugs us with the other. ❤
You brought a smile to my heart this morning. Thanks so much.

    1. That’s one of my favorite passages, also, Ann! I’m so glad that God reveals Himself to us through His Word and through His Spirit!
I like that picture; it puts a new spin on “loving guidance”!
Praise the Lord for the joy He gives us when we worship Him! Thank you for worshiping with me! 😊
