Worship with me #63

Hello! Welcome to number 63 in the series of Worship with me!

Feel free to pray this prayer with me:

Heavenly Father, I can’t even comprehend what heavenly means, except to know that You are the

  • highest,
  • tallest,
  • strongest,
  • wisest,
  • best, and
  • only perfect father in the world!

You are above all of the other fathers in every area of

  • strength,
  • wisdom,
  • presence, and
  • loving attention!

You see every good thing I do and hear every unkind thing I say and in response, You deal with me in perfect love.

You never blame me for something someone else did because You always see and hear the whole story Yourself, so no one can pull the wool over Your eyes.

Your work is never more important to You than I am because I am a part of Your work!

You’re always available to talk and listen anytime of the day or night. You understand when and why we can’t sleep and don’t put a curfew on our conversations with You!

You really listen to every word and don’t expect us to just give You a summary or bullet points so You can move on quickly to the part of Your agenda that doesn’t include us.  Even though You have many important matters to take care of, You never dismiss us or tell us that You don’t have time for us or for our concerns!  Thank You!

You rejoice when we rejoice and come alongside us in compassion when we weep.

You’re always kind, never harsh, even when You have to correct us.

I’m so glad You’re my Heavenly Father, and I want to know You more!

Thank You for loving me that much!

Amen!

“Do you not know? Have you not heard?
The Everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth
Does not become weary or tired.
His understanding is inscrutable.”  Isaiah 40:28  NASB

“O Lord, You have searched me and known me.
You know when I sit down and when I rise up;
You understand my thought from afar.
You scrutinize my path and my lying down,
And are intimately acquainted with all my ways.”  Psalm 139:1-3  NASB
