Today I’m thankful for encouraging notes from friends in far away places.
Today I got notes from two different sisters in Christ with encouraging words, asking how I am and how things are going, assuring me they are thinking of me.
One sister gave testimony of the Lord answering prayer and offered to help with practical things. The other wanted to let me know she is praying for our family as we get used to the changes that come with one young person going off to college.
I’m so thankful for these unexpected words of encouragement! They truly brought me joy! Thank you, ladies, if you’re reading this! You know who you are!
How about you all? Have you received unexpected notes of encouragement (whether by snail mail, email, text, or other forms) that brought joy to your heart?
Have a great day as you seek to have an attitude of gratitude! 😊
Yes I have received such special notes of encouragement! And you have been part of that for me! Thank you Dear Sister for the ways You bring encouragement too! ♥️♥️♥️

I am not receiving notes of encouragement, but I am getting encouragement online, from texts and messages. So, not quite the same, but almost.

Oh, it doesn’t have to be on paper! One of mine was a text, and the other an email; I still consider them to be notes, no matter how they come! 🙂 It’s the unexpected word of encouragement that matters! Thanks for bringing that up! I’ve edited the post to include different forms! ❤
