Lord, I thank You that You bring us good news! You are the God of good news for You are good! You are the One who makes all things to work together for good to those who love You, and You use the trials and difficulties of our lives to make us more like Jesus!

What an amazing plan You have made, that Jesus, the Prince of Peace, would come to earth and become the bridge that connects man to God, the bridge across the great divide caused by our sin!

How lovely on Mount Calvary were Your feet, dear Lord Jesus, that brought good news, even though they were first pierced by nails as You gave Yourself in our place that we might be redeemed!

Thank You, Lord Jesus, for taking my place, for doing for me what I could not do for myself!

And thank You that You will come again and set things right forever and ever!

May “Your Kingdom come and Your will be done on earth as it is in Heaven!”
