Today was another snow day here; we started to get some freezing rain and sleet, but it changed back to snow pretty quickly.
After a while I decided to go outside and get some photos because the falling snow was not showing up on the photos I tried to take through the windows. So, I put on double layers, then donned my winter coat and boots, grabbed my phone, and out the door I went!
I love to look out the windows and see the pristine snow, so I tried to be careful where I left footprints.
Here are a few photos I took with my phone, edited for clarity.
Snow is so amazing!
Each snowflake is a one-of-a-kind work of art, a masterpiece!

Today I’m thankful for the amazing beauty and wonder of snow and for warm clothes, a warm coat, and boots that enable me to go outside and enjoy it! I’m also thankful for the camera on my phone so I can easily share the photos with my friends!
Proverbs 31:21 NKJV “She is not afraid of snow for her household, For all her household is clothed with scarlet.“
Isaiah 1:18 NKJV “‘Come now, and let us reason together,’ Says the Lord, ‘Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.‘”
What about you? What is the weather like where you live? What do you like to take photos of? Do you have a favorite of the above photos? Did you check out the link above? Aren’t the individual snowflake designs amazing?!
Fabulous pictures! We live in Texas so not much snow here. When we do get it, it’s usually preceded by sleet and the roads are dangerous. Right now it’s low 30’s but we are supposed to have some sunshine today and I’ll take it!

Low thirties in Texas! How often does that happen there in a typical winter?
We have beautiful sunshine today, so the snow is sparkling and dazzling, and starting to melt in certain places.
Thanks for reading and for taking the time to comment! God bless you, sister! 😊

Aww, have you ever lived in or visited a place where you got to experience snow?
You do have a lot of beautiful flowers, though! 😊
And aren’t you thinking about going to college up north?

I have once, but it was only an inch of snow.
Yes, we do have flowers!
Oh yes! The end of August this up-coming year, I’ll be in college way up there! Right now, it’s below zero and of course – snowing! I can’t wait!

Does the school give students who aren’t from the north advice on layering clothing and such so you won’t end up getting frostbite or just uncomfortably cold all the time? Below zero is no walk in the park!

I love your comment, Tammy! I had to un-spam it, so sorry I didn’t see it earlier.
My husband and I planted that pine tree maybe 15 years or so ago. It has definitely gotten very tall! And it looks so amazing against the white background of the snow!
In a few weeks I may be longing for a Caribbean vacation! lol. But for now, I’m sure enjoying looking at the beauty of the pure white snow!
I’m glad you enjoyed the pics! Yes, amen! Thank you, and blessings to you, as well! 😀

I’ve always lived in a snowy area. If you check my blog page for this week you’ll see an “ice rose” we found in our yard the first snow we had. We’ve had another day of fairly steady snow, not quite 2inches total. Those verses also came to my mind today and I think it’s so amazing that we can see snowflakes so intricately and let God show off His creativity and attention to detail. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!

I wonder how ice roses form? We got about 6 inches of snow before it stopped. Yes, each snowflake is like a miniature miracle! Yes, to God be the glory!
