This morning my son and daughter and I left the house at 7:40 a.m. to do a little last minute Christmas shopping before the crowds. We arrived at Walmart around 8 a.m., and the store was already starting to get somewhat crowded before we left an hour later.
I don’t like crowds or traffic, and I know what it can get like at that spot at this time of year. I remember one year taking 30 minutes to go 3 miles at this time of year, and that one time was enough for me!
So, imagine my surprise when I hit 4 green lights and only light traffic in that area this morning at 9 and made it home in record time!
As my husband used to say when the children were little,
“It’s a Christmas miracle!” ๐
Sometimes the Lord wants us to wait, and we don’t like it so much. But sometimes He gives us the green lights and the go ahead andย smooths the path before us!
Today, I am thankful for green lights and smooth sailing!ย I’m thankful for the times when God goes before us and smooths the way before us!
What about you?ย Are you thankful for the times when God clears the way before you? Is the only thing you like about waiting the end of the wait? What are you praising Him for today?
Yes, we love those times! I pray for the same thing! Iโm about to head into traffic to make it home, in the midst of shoppers! ๐ข๐๐ผ

Hooray for Green Lights! I agree, sometimes God does give the green lights and we just need to go go go!
