I remember when I was so non tech savvy that my daughter had to sign me up for Facebook!! I didn’t know how to text, and I never thought I would have a smart phone!
Who would have thought that I would start a blog?!
I still remember the look on my older son’s face when I told him and his incredulous response:
“MOM, has a BLOG?? 😳 LOL
It reminds me of Nathanael asking Philip, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” (John 1:45-49)
“Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?” Nathanael asked. “Come and see,” said Philip. (vs. 46)
“Then Nathanael declared, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God…'” (vs. 49)
Both thought it was unbelievable. But it was/is, nonetheless, true!
Whatever God is calling us to do, He does not call us to stay in our comfort zone. He wants us to keep on learning and serving Him better from day to day, year after year.
And He will enable us to do whatever He calls us to do!
The “bettering of ourselves” for us as Christians should be for the purpose of serving God more effectively and giving Him the glory!
I started this blog a little over 4 years ago, and it has been a huge learning experience in so many good ways!
Today I’m thankful for tech communications, and for all of you who have encouraged me to carry on with this blog! Thank you! 😊
God’s richest blessings be on you in this new year!
Awwww you are very welcome! I’m glad you do have this blog! 🙂 ❤

Dear Ruth, I am so thankful that you stepped out of your comfort zone 4 years ago, and share here with us! Technology can be a good tool, when it’s offered to the Lord! Your thoughts here today reminded me that in just a month it will be 4 years of blogging for me too. I cannot believe it’s been that long. God has woven so many beautiful gifts here. Thank you for being one of those gifts, dear friend! Blessings to you as you continue forward in His steps.

Thank you, dear Bettie! Yes, it can! Wow, 4 years! Where did it go, right?! So many things have happened in that time. I’m glad that God has put you in my life, also, through our blogs! Blessings to you, also! May 2020 be a better year for you and your husband, especially as pertains to your health! Love you, sister.

You sound like me! I come fairly slowly into tech things, but the Lord gives me wisdom to learn to do the things I need to on tech, but I also have grown sons who have helped me a bit as I’ve tried to figure out new phones or computer or apps. I stumbled into blogging 2years ago and still not sure I’m taking advantage of all that’s available with the basic $4.00/ month level I’m at with WordPress, but I’m sharing what the Spirt’s leading me into each week and seem to be blessings my readers and gaining new ones. Thanks for sharing this journey with me ☺️

Hehe! It’s a learning process; praise God we’re still able to learn! 😊
Since I started getting smart phones, I ask as many questions as possible of the store employee who sells us the phone.
I’m learning on a free blog. When I reach whatever the limit is, I guess I’ll have to decide what change to make, and maybe get a pay blog. Thank you for sharing this journey with me, too! ☺
