Day 101 – Thankful for the new puppy!

Sunday evening I took my youngest daughter to youth group. Instead of going home, I went to my older son’s house. He and his wife just got a new puppy. She is so cute!

She is part husky and part Pomeranian. I couldn’t believe how soft her fur was, almost like a Persian cat!

She was so lovable, licking me, which I normally don’t like animals to do, but what can I say? She’s SO cute!

She definitely put a smile on my face and on the faces of my son and his wife.

Today I’m thankful for cute puppies. God sure does know how to graciously give us fun, cute, and sweet gifts!

“In him (Jesus) we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us.”

What about you?  What kind of fun, cute, and sweet gifts has God given you?  Do you have a dog, cat, or some other pet?  How have you experienced God’s lavish grace?

  1. My heart melted. ❤ So cute!! I wanted to pick her up and hug her. ❤ I saw the husky in her but couldn't figure out what she was mixed with. Pomeranian. Wow what a beautiful mix!!

Haha, your question at the end of your post. I have had so many dogs and cats in my life over the years, I've been overly blessed with His little creatures. Right now, I have a feral cat population (most are no longer feral, I've managed to tame many). There are eleven total. (I'm including the indoor cat Jackie because technically I rescued her from a different population I'm not caring for.) I haven't had a dog since 2017 when I lost my last dog, Rosie, and we never got another. If you want to see what she looked like, I made a post for her here: https://followinghimbesidestillwaters.wordpress.com/2017/06/04/my-friend-rosie-rest-in-peace/ She was a mix of I have no idea what. But she was a blessing. 🙂 I also have four sweet chickens who came all the way from Indiana (I'm in Arkansas)! 😀
