Day 104 – Thankful God brought me through another January

In a way it seems like January just started not that long ago. Does it seem that way for you, too?

On the other hand, a lot happened this month, and I’m thankful I survived another January,

I’m thanking God that I survived another freezing cold day,

  • another month of lessened energy,
  • another month of being indoors more than I’d like.

I’m thankful God gave me and my family thirty-one more nights of sleeping in safety and thirty-one more days of walking, driving, working, writing, and cooking in safety.

I’m thankful I survived another blustery day with windchimes, another month of drinking lots of hot tea, another month of decluttering heart and home.

I’m thankful for the Lord’s answers to prayer for my daughter’s first pain clinic appointment.

I’m thankful for each gift of another day that the Lord gave me to be alive and walk with Him, all 31 of them.

Today I’m thankful that God was with me every step of the way, just as He always is been!

I’m thankful that, by His grace, I’ve survived another January!

What about you? Did January go by fast for you? Are you thankful for God bringing you safely through? What was your favorite thing that happened this past month?

January here was a combination of great and hard. I’m thankful to have survived the first half of it and grateful for the memories of the second half. πŸ™‚
