Day 131 – Thankful my arm is so much better!

For those of you who are just joining me, three weeks ago I fell and injured my wrist, forearm, and elbow.  The next morning, the provider at urgent care splinted the whole thing because the x-ray showed fluid on the elbow which he said could indicate a hidden fracture.

A little over a week later, I had another x-ray and was told there was no fracture! However, a couple of days later, I reinjured the whole forearm, and the pain was worse for an hour or so than when I first injured it. I’ve had a lot of people praying for me, including some of you. Thank you so much! God is answering!

Friday, for the first time in a little less than three weeks since the original injury, I went to the gym and worked out on the weight machines. I avoided the ones that involved using my arms except for the triceps curl, the seated chest press, and the lat pulldown machines. I didn’t put much weight on them, and they didn’t bother my arm at all!

Yesterday (Monday), just over three weeks after the injury, I worked out again and added in the bicep curl with 10 pounds on it. That bothered a couple of muscles just a little bit, so it’s not quite completely healed, but it’s getting close!

It’s incredible how fast the sprains in my wrist and forearm are getting better! Thanks again, to those of you who have been praying for me!

Today I’m thankful to be able to get back to the gym to work out again!

I’m thankful that God has sped up the healing process and that things are going so well!

And I’m so thankful for those of you who prayed and brought my plight before the throne of God!

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His name.

For the Lord is good; His mercy is everlasting; and His truth endureth to all generations. Psalm 100:4,5

How about you? Have you experienced answers to prayer that happened faster than you believed possible? Have you ever had an injury that kept you from being able to be active? Were you glad when you were able to get out and exercise again?
