Today I reached the kitchen door, and what a funny sight met my eyes!
Someone must have spilled something delicious down the front of the stove and didn’t clean it up, so Lilly decided to help herself! She went at it with gusto. Do you see her tail? Just barely? That’s because she wags it so hard! π
Then there are the photos that snap later than you had hoped.
Lilly loves to eat. Anytime is a good time for her; and her sign language for wanting food is to stick out her tongue. π She’s not being disrespectful, honest! lol Once again, look at the tail, a blur because she’s wagging it!
Oh, and those random moments when she makes her ears stand up?! I made this digital birthday card for a friend with one of the photos my daughter took of Lilly (using my phone camera). π
Lilly is very patient with her teen owners. She looks at me with this look on her face.
And then there’s the time my granddaughter accidentally threw a big chunk of bread on the back of one of the geese at the park, and it took a minute for another goose to see it and help himself. That was hilarious!!
Sometimes it’s good to have some laughter to lighten the load of life’s troubles. It relieves stress and makes us more healthy.
The writer of Proverbs put it this way:
“A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a personβs strength.” Proverbs 17:22 NLT
Today I’m thankful for the laughter that comes from funny animal antics!
I’m thankful for God’s gifts of laughter, joy, and cheerfulness.
What about you? Do you have any stories about funny animal antics? Have you ever noticed how laughing makes you feel better?
Awww cute!

Love the stories and the photos! My cat Daisy likes to sit on the back of my recliner and knead my hair with her paws. Since sometimes, she scratches my scalp, I have a baseball cap next to my recliner to pop onto my head as needed. LOL

Yes, that’s what they say! π I used to read the section with that as its title in the Reader’s Digest when I was much younger. It was my favorite section!

Yes! For sure! You know, one animal I’ve loved and wished for years I could have is a horse. Maybe someday. They’re so beautiful, and some of them can do some funny things, also! π
