Day 193- Thankful God is not racist

As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, Mandisa’s “Way Maker” was on auto repeat in my mind until late last night.  Then I started thinking about another song she sings.  She’s an amazingly talented musical artist, by the way!  I love the lyrics to this song!

At the end of the song there is a powerful prayer:

This song expresses so well what is on my heart.  I’ve got so many questions, such as, why human beings still think it’s okay to hate someone else because of the color of their skin. 

This repulsive attitude is just plain wrong.

I agree with God in His hatred for racism.  He loves ALL people.  He shuns NO race.

Look at who gets to go to heaven to be with Him for eternity:

“After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands.” Revelation 7:9 NIV

Every people in today’s vernacular is every race.

Jesus died for every person to make a way for each and every one who would believe on Him to spend eternity with Him!

“And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.”  John 12:32  ( — Jesus)

“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.”  John 3:16 NLT

God made everyone beautiful with loving creativity!

“I will offer You my grateful heart, for I am Your unique creation, filled with wonder and awe. You have approached even the smallest details with excellence; Your works are wonderful; I carry this knowledge deep within my soul.”  Psalm 139:14  VOICE

This psalm can be claimed by every human being on this earth!

God shows NO partiality!

“Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality.”  Acts 10:34  NKJV

God loves everyone; so should we.

He shows no partiality, and we should not either.

The good news of the gospel is for everyone. 

Today I’m thankful that God is not racist. 

I’m glad that He invites those from every tribe, race, nation, and language to receive salvation through His Son, Jesus Christ! 

I look forward to the day when every tribe, race, nation, and language will be worshiping God together in pure love and unity before His heavenly throne!
