Day 60 – Thanks for musicians and musical instruments

Have you ever thought about what the world would be like with NO music? What if God had given us no musicians? What if there were no instruments?

Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending the Christmas cantata of the senior choir of our church in the morning. Then in the evening, my husband and I went to a Christmas concert which had a number of professionals, including a small orchestra. It was a very relaxing experience which I enjoyed very much!

Each musician added his or her voice or instrumental music to weave a tapestry of peace. (I took this picture while the orchestra was warming up; taking photos was not allowed during the concert.)

Today I’m thankful that God is gracious to give us musicians and their voices and instruments!

How about you? Have you been to any Christmas musicals or concerts? Are you thankful for each musician who shared their talent with you? Have you ever thanked a musician personally for blessing you with his/her talent?
