New Day #4

Blessed are You, oh Lord, our God, King of the universe, who has brought us safely through another night, provided for our need for warmth, and restored us with the gift of sleep! You restore my soul, Your mercies are new every morning, and great is your faithfulness!

It’s a brand new day, a gift from You, Lord! Thank you for Your many names that help us understand more of who You are! Thank You Jehovah Shalom for Your peace, Jehovah Jireh for Your provision, Jehovah Rapha for Your gifts of healing. Thank you Emmanuel, that Your presence is always with us. We run to You that You may hide us in Your strong and caring protection. Help us to dwell close to You in obedience, to lean in to hear Your voice, to dine with You at the table You have prepared before us, to enjoy the beauty of Your wonderful Presence!

Bless the Lord, oh my soul, and all that is within me, bless His Holy name! Bless the Lord, oh my soul, and forget not all His benefits! Who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your soul from destruction, who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies, who satisfies your mouth with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagles. Bless the Lord, oh my soul!

It’s a new day, and Jesus is a wonderful Savior who loves us superabundantly! Let’s bask in the warmth of His love and gratefully spread His love to others.
